Women's Lacrosse Shoots Past SUNY Canton 18-4

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse jumped out to an 8-1 lead after one period as the Rams cruised to an 18-4 victory over SUNY Canton in non-conference action at Maple Street Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams jumped out to a 4-0 lead just over four minutes into the game. Regan Fein tallied twice, and Rachel Erickson and Molly Lanier added goals. 

  • Canton got on the board at the 10-minute mark of the first, but the Rams scored the final four goals of the period to lead 8-1 after one.  

  • The Rams extended the lead to 14-1 at the half. Erickson added a pair of markers in the frame, while Hailey Baker, Brandi Core and Juli Guzi found the back of the net. 

  • The Rams maintained the double-digit lead throughout the second half in route to the non-conference victory. 

  • Erickson paced the Rams with five goals in the game, while Fein finished the contest with three goals and two assists. 

  • Green finished the night with two goals and two assists, while Lanier added a pair of goals and an assist. Guerin finished the game with a pair of goals and three assists. 

  • Isabella DiMare earned the victory in net making nine saves.
