Women's Lacrosse Cruises to 25-7 Victory over Ohio Northern
Panama City Beach, Fla. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team jumped out to a 7-1 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back as the Rams defeated Ohio Northern 25-7 this afternoon in a non-conference contest in Panama City Beach at the Spring Fling.

The Rams were paced by five goals and four draw controls from Rachel Erickson, while Regan Fein chipped in with four goals, two helpers, two ground balls and six draw controls.

Kelley DeBellis, Molly Lanier, and Hannah Guerin chipped in with three goals apiece, while Leah Green found the back of the net twice and handed out four assists.

Madison Skiff scored twice for the Rams, while Hailey Baker tallied a goal and an assist. Julianna Guzi and Jordan Utter scored once apiece, while Maggie Grout recorded an assist.

The Rams opened the game with four straight goals including two from Erickson before Ohio Northern got on the board. THe Rams countered with three straight to lead 7-1 after one.

After trading goals to start the second quarter, the Rams closed the frame with four goals including two from Fein to lead 12-2 at the half.

Ohio Northern closed the gap to eight on a pair of occasions in the third quarter, but the Rams pushed the lead back to double digits to close the frame leading 18-6. The Rams maintained the sizable lead throughout the fourth quarter to earn the victory.
