McMahon Selected to IWLCA All-Region First Team

Framingham, Mass. – Senior midfielder Hanna McMahon (Watertown, Mass.) has been honored with selection to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) 2021 Division III All-Berkshire Region First Team.

The IWLCA has honored 272 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2021. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2021 All-American teams and Players of the Year in June.

McMahon, who was previously honored this spring with selection to the 2021 All-MASCAC team, joins Emily Hiller from Bridgewater State University as the only first team honorees from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), while Lauren Arbec and Lily Gendron from Worcester State and Kara Banagan and Sam Donohoe from Westfield State were second team selections.

McMahon earned All-MASCAC honors twice during her career and this season tallied 29 goals with 10 assists for 39 points. McMahon finished the season ranked second in the MASCAC in goals scored and third in total points.  McMahon also recorded 16 ground balls with 43 draw controls on the year.

The Rams finished the 2021 season with an 8-2 record and earned a share of the MASCAC Regular Season Title with a 3-1 mark in the MASCAC.
