Gamache and Palermo Earn MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors
Framingham, Mass. – Junior attack Grace Gamache (Dartmouth, Mass.) and freshman attack Tara Palermo (Mashpee, Mass.) have been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 21st.
Gamache earns her second player of the week honor after tallying six goals and seven assists for 13 points in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She tallied three goals and two assists, one on the game-tying goal and one on the game-winning goal, in the Rams 10-9 overtime victory over Westfield State. She closed the week with three goals and five assists in a win over Salem State.
Palermo earns rookie of the week honors after netting three goals on the week with four ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover. She tallied a pair of goals, including the overtime game-winning, in the victory over Westfield State and added a goal in the victory over Salem State.
