Gamache Named IWLCA Second Team All-Region
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore attack Grace Gamache (Dartmouth, Mass.) has been named to the 2018 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Berkshire Region Second Team as announced by the IWLCA this afternoon.
Gamache, the 2017 MASCAC Rookie of the Year and two time All-MASCAC first team honoree led the MASCAC in scoring in 2018 with 111 points. Gamache tallied 55 goals, including the 100th of her career, and 56 assists on the year to go along with 114 draw controls.
The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2018. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team which will be announced in mid-June.
The 2018 women's lacrosse team won a school record 16 games, finished second in the MASCAC and advanced to the MASCAC Tournament Championship game for the first time in school history.
