Women's Lacrosse Lands Five on 2018 All-MASCAC Teams

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team landed five players on the 2018 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.  

Senior midfielder Kimmy Foley (Mansfield, Mass.) and sophomore attack Grace Gamache (Dartmouth, Mass.) were selected to the first team, while sophomore midfielder Nicole Pacheco (Woburn, Mass.), junior defender Bailey Donelly (Framingham, Mass.) and junior goalie Indigo Fox Tree-McGrath (Bedford, Mass.) were named to the second team.

Foley earns her third first team honors after compiling 46 goals and 34 assists for 80 points during her final season with the Rams.  Foley finishes her career with 156 goals, 71 assists and 227 career points which ranks her first all-time in career assists and second all-time in points and goals for the Rams.

Gamache, the 2017 MASCAC Rookie of the Year, repeats as a first team selection after leading the MASCAC in scoring in 2018 with 111 points.  Gamache tallied 55 goals, including the 100th of her career, and 56 assists on the year to go along with 114 draw controls. 

Pacheco repeats as a second team selection after tallying 38 goals and 19 assists for 57 points with 50 ground balls, 51 draw controls and 36 caused turnovers during her second season with the Rams.  Donelly earns her first All-MASCAC honors after anchoring the Rams defense this season with 29 ground ball and 12 caused turnovers.  Fox Tree-McGrath also repeats as a second team selection after going 16-3 in net for the Rams.  She made 128 saves on the year with a 9.42 goals against average.

The 2018 women's lacrosse team won a school record 16 games, finished second in the MASCAC and advanced to the MASCAC Tournament Championship game for the first time in school history.
