Fredericks & Women’s Lacrosse Named to IWLCA Honor Roll

Framingham, Mass.- The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team was named to the 2017 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad. The Rams were one of 308 colleges and universities across all three divisions to earn academic honors. In order to qualify for this honor, the women's lacrosse team must have a cumulative 3.0 or higher team grade-point average for the year.

Junior Mallory Fredericks (Templeton, Mass.) was named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Div. III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. 

The 2017 women's lacrosse team won a school record 12 games and advanced the MASCAC Tournament semifinals.
