Framingham, Mass. – Three Framingham State University women's lacrosse players have been named to the 2012 New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) All-Conference teams in voting conducted by the conference coaches and announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Senior midfielder Kerry Kiley (Mansfield, Mass.) was a first team selection, while classmate Brittany McLean (Walpole, Mass.) was a second team midfield selection and junior Courtney Robinson (Beverly, Mass.) earned second team honors at defense.

Kiley, who earned first team honors in 2011 and second team in 2010, is second in the conference in goals this season with a team-leading 62 and is fourth in points with 66 on the season.  She has 51 ground balls and has caused 24 turnovers on the year.  Kiley holds seven Framingham State women's lacrosse scoring records including career points and goals as she surpassed 200 career points earlier this season and is closing in on 200 career goals.

McLean and Robinson each earn their first all-conference honors.  McLean is second on the Rams in scoring with 55 points on the year on 34 goals and 21 assists.  Her 21 assists place her tied for third in the conference for assists at the conclusion of the regular season.  Robinson is an integral part of the Rams defense as she has 43 ground balls on the year and has forced opponents to commit 15 turnovers.

The Rams finished the 2012 regular campaign with a school record nine victories as they amassed a 9-6 overall record and qualified for their first NEWLA post season tournament as the third seed with a 6-2 conference mark.
