Women's Ice Hockey Falls to Conference Leader Plymouth State

Plymouth, N.H. - The Framingham State University men's ice hockey team was defeated 7-0 this afternoon by conference leader Plymouth State in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Hanaway Arena.

-Records: Framingham State (0-21, 0-15 MASCAC), Plymouth State (16-7-1, 11-2-1 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Panthers struck for the game's first goal with just under four minutes to play in the opening period. 

  • The Panthers tacked on four more including a pair of power play goals pushing the lead to 5-0 after two. 

  • Plymouth added a power play goal from Robyn Grant, her second of the game, and a tally from Lauren McNeil in the third to reach the final margin. 

  • Lila Chamoun took the loss in  net for the Rams making 16 saves in one period of action.  Brigid Milligan made 18 saves in her period of action between the pipes, while Anna McGinty closed the game with 20 saves in the final period.
