O'Connor Named MASCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior forward Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Week for the week ending February 25^th.

O'Connor earns player of the week honors after averaging 21 points, 16.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week that clinched the MASCAC Tournament Title. O'Connor score 24 points with 19 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the 81-55 semifinal win over Salem State. O'Connor finished the tournament with 18 points, 14 rebounds and an assist in the title game 74-62 championship game win over Bridgewater State to earn Tournament MVP honors.
