Women's Basketball Clinches MASCAC Regular Season Title with 88-58 Victory over Worcester State

Worcester, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team clinched the 2024 MASCAC Regular Season Title with an 88-58 victory over Worcester State this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Brissette Court.

- Records: Framingham State (21-2, 10-1 MASCAC), Worcester State (4-20, 3-8 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • With one game remaining in the regular season, the Rams improved to 10-1 in league and have clinched the MASCAC Regular Season Title. With tonight's victory, the Rams moved one game ahead of Bridgewater State in the MASCAC standings. Bridgewater State closed their conference slate with a loss at Westfield State this evening. 

  • The Rams were paced in the game by 20 points from Katherine Haselton. Haselton connected on 8-of-13 from the floor and added nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. 

  • Chloe Rayko poured in 18 points off the bench as she connected on 5-of-7 from behind the arc. 

  • Kelsey Yelle finished the game with 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals, while Flannery O'Connor chipped in with 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals. 

  • Gwendolyn Carpenter added nine points, eight assists, four rebounds and three steals.
