O’Connor Moves Into Second Spot on Rams All-Time Scoring List; Rams Down MCLA 75-30

Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State senior Flannery O'Connor scored the game's first 11 points and Rams never looked back en route to a 75-30 win over MCLA in MASCAC action Saturday afternoon in Framingham.  

THE BASICS: 

- Score: Framingham State 75, MCLA 30, 

- Records: Framingham State (20-2, 9-1 MASCAC), MCLA (4-20, 1-10 MASCAC) 

- Location:  Logan Gymnasium – Framingham, Mass. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • O'Connor scored 19 first-half points as the Rams led 45-6 heading into the break. With her 12th point of the game, O'Connor passed Mary Kate O'Day for the second place on the Rams all-time scoring list. O'Day scored 1,557 points from 2016-20.  

  • O'Connor led the way for the Rams with 21 points and 12 boards. Kelsey Yelle and Abby Martin added 11 points as the Rams received points from 12 different scores.  

  • MCLA's leading scorers were Eva Eberwein and Hailey Peabody with eight a piece.

The Rams head to Worcester State for MASCAC action Wednesday evening at 5:30pm. The Trailblazers host Worcester State Saturday at noon.
