Women's Basketball Cruises Past Westminster 71-48 at D3hoops.com Classic

Las Vegas, NV. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team continued their historic start to the year as they defeated Westminster (MO) 71-48 to at the D3hoops.com Hoops Classic at South Point Arena.  With the victory the Rams improved 11-0 on the season which is the program's best start to date.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Gwendolyn Carpenter recorded eight assists in the game for the Rams which is a new tournament record surpassing the old mark of seven held by several players. Carpenter added two rebounds and 12 points in the game. 

  • Flannery O'Connor and Kelsey Yelle contributed double doubles in the game for the Rams. O'Connor tallied 17 points with 11 rebounds and three steals, while Yelle finished the game with 12 points and 10 boards with three steals. 

  • Katherine Haselton chipped in with 13 points and two assists as she hit on 4-of-9 from the floor.
