O’Connor Earns MASCAC Player of the Week for the Fifth Time This Season

Framingham Mass Framingham State sophomore Flannery O'Connor has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 20th. 

O'Connor averaged 22.3 points and 10.7 rebounds while shooting 59 percent from the floor (26-44) in a 3-0 week for the Rams to secure the MASCAC Regular Season Title and complete an undefeated conference slate.  

She scored 23 points with 14 rebounds and three blocks in the 65-55 win over Worcester State. Tallied 24 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes of play in the 91-70 win over Salem State and scored 20 points with seven boards in 18 minutes of play in a win over MCLA. 

This is the fifth time this season and third time in four weeks that O'Connor has earned MASCAC Player of the Week honors. 

The Rams, who earned the top-seed in this week's MASCAC Tournament will host a semifinal game on Thursday at 7pm.
