O’Connor Earns MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Honors

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State sophomore Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 30th.

O'Connor averaged 23 points, 15.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, two steals and 1.7 blocks whille shooting 54.9 percent from the field in a 3-0 week for the Rams. She had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds with two steals and two assists in the 102-55 win over Westfield State. The forward contributed 23 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and four assists in the 74-57 win over Worcester State and ended the week with 18 points, 17 rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block in the 78-54 win over Bridgewater State.

This is the third time this season O'Connor has earned MASCAC Player of the Week and the fifth time a Ram has been chosen for this award.
