O’Connor Chosen as NEWBA Co-Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State freshman Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 24^th.

O'Connor averaged 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks shooting 74% from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Rams completing an undefeated conference season. She scored 21 with 11 boards, two assists a steal and two blocks in the Rams 85-63 win over Bridgewater. She added 18 points with ten boards, two assists, a steal and three blocks in 22 minutes of play in the Rams 81-53 win over Fitchburg State.
