O'Day Tabbed NEWBA Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass.- Junior guard Mary Kate O'Day (Berlin, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Player of the Week for the week ending January 27th.

O'Day averaged 23 points with 11 boards and 4.5 assists in 2-0 week for the Rams while shooting 44.4% (16-36) from the field. She posted back-to-back 20-plus point games starting a with a 24-point effort in a triumph over MCLA. Follwed that up with a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double in a victory over Fitchburg State. She also had eight assists and four steals against the Falcons.

Earlier in the week O'Day was also named MASCAC Player of the Week by the conference.
