O'Day and Cunningham Earn MASCAC Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass.- Junior guard Mary Kate O'Day (Berlin, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week and freshman guard Liana Cunningham (Quincy, Mass.) has been named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 27th.

O'Day averaged 23 points with 11 boards and 4.5 assists in 2-0 week for the Rams while shooting 44.4% (16-36) from the field. She posted back-to-back 20-plus point games starting a with a 24-point effort in a triumph over MCLA. Follwed that up with a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double in a victory over Fitchburg State. She also had eight assists and four steals against the Falcons.

Cunningham averaged eight assists, three rebounds, and a steal in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She dished out nine helpers with two steals in a 77-41 win over MCLA and added seven assists, two points and six boards in a 90-63 win over Fitchburg State.
