Donahue Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass.- Freshman guard Lauren Donahue (North Attleboro) has been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 15th.

This is the second consecutive week Donahue has been recognized by the conference with this honor. The freshman averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 assists, 5.5 steals while shooting 60 percent from the field in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She scored 11 points with five rebounds, six steals and five assists in the 67-50 win at MCLA.

The Rams are currently tied for 2nd place in the MASCAC standings with a 7-4 conference record. They return to the court for their final regular season game on Saturday, February 21st when they play Worcester State at Clark University at 5:00 p.m.
