Moody Named MASCAC Softball Player and Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outfielder Mycala Moody (North Attleboro, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 23rd.    

Moody earns her second rookie of the week honor this season and her first player of the week nod.  Moody batted .533 (8-for-15) with a triple, two RBI, seven runs scored, three walks and three stolen bases in a 5-1 week for the Rams.  She went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a triple and an RBI in a MASCAC doubleheader sweep of Worcester State and scored a pair of runs with a pair of stolen bases in a win over Roger Williams.  She closed the week going 3-for-6 with an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep of Massachusetts Maritime.
