Bio

Mark Johnson has been a member of the cross country staff since 2017 and will be serving as the interim head coach for the 2023 season. 

Before joining the Rams, Johnson spent five years coaching cross country, indoor, and outdoor track at Hopedale High School in Hopedale, MA.  While in Hopedale, his boy’s cross country team compiled an overall regular season record of 45-1.  Some of the team's other accomplishments include: winning the Division Two State Championship in 2014, being the Division Two State Runner Up in 2013, and winning the Middle School State Championship in 2012.

Additionally, Johnson worked for the New England Revolution, and Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer, where he assisted their respective soccer operations departments.  Following a seven year stint in soccer, he left the sport to join the special education teaching staff at the Wellesley Middle School, in Wellesley, MA, where he currently resides.
