Men’s Cross Country Competes at MASCAC Championship

Devens, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's cross country team finished fifth at the 2021 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Cross Country Championship.  

THE BASICS:

- Location:     Willard Park/Devens Recreational Facility – Devens, Mass. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • The Rams top finisher was freshman Patrick Walsh (Lynnfield, Mass.) who navigated the 8K course in a time of 27:55 which placed him 8th overall. 

  • Sophomore PJ Pharmer (Peru, Mass.) finished 14th with a time of 28:21 followed by junior Kevin Durant (Lynn, Mass.) who crossed next for the Rams at 28:28, while sophomore Manny Miranda (West Springfield, Mass.) followed at 30:40. 

  • Cullen Lancaster crossed with a time of 30:49 for the Rams, while Adam Banat (Shrewsbury, Mass.) followed at 32:02. 

  • Matthew Mori (Natick, Mass.) finished at the 32:57 mark followed by Ben Heath (East Longmeadow, Mass.) who rounded out the Rams finishers with a time of 42:22.

The Rams are back in action in two weeks at the 2021 NCAA Div. III Regional in Boston, Mass.
