Men’s Cross Country Competes at Western New England Invitational

Springfield, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's cross country raced this morning at the 2016 Western New England University Cross Country Invitational.

The Rams were led by senior Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) who crossed the line in 50th place in a time of 29:01 for the 8K course.  Thirty seconds behind Stevens was classmate Richie Wertz (South Easton, Mass.) at 29:31.

Senior Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) followed in a time of 32:32, while sophomore Steven Furtney (Pembroke, Mass.) crossed the line at 33:36.  Rounding out the finishers for the Rams are Mike Ferris (37:15) and John Nephew (42:24).

The Rams are off next week, but return to racing on October 29th at the MASCAC Championships.
