Sinha Named MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year; Four Named All-Conference

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State senior Kunphel Sinha (Darjeeling, India) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. Kaio Santos Da Silva (Cuparaque, Brazil), Gustav Hemmingson (Copenhagen, Denmark) and Logan Forgan (Adelaide, Australia) have been named to the All-MASCAC Squads.  

Sinha, a senior earns the 2023 MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year after registering seven goals and four assists for 18 points, all in the top five in the league. He also led the Rams to two wins with game-winning goals and was perfect on penalty kick opportunities this season. This is his third MASCAC All-Conference accolade, also earning 2021 and 2022 honors.  

Santos Da Silva earns second-team honors after a strong rookie campaign in which he scored six goals and an assist and was named MASCAC Rookie of the Week two times during the season.  

Hemmingson, who was the 2022 MASCAC Rookie of the Year and All-MASCAC honoree after having a strong sophomore season, contributing 14 points and five goals and four assists on the year for the Rams.  

Forgan returns to the All-MASCAC squad for the second consecutive season after helping to anchor the Rams defense which held their opponents to 1.29 goals per game. 

The 2023 Rams finished their season 11-8-1 with a 4-3 conference record earning the fourth seed in the MASCAC Tournament.
