Men's Soccer Fourth Seed in MASCAC Men's Soccer Tournament

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's soccer has earned the fourth seed in this week's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Tournament.  As the fourth seed the Rams will host fifth seed Worcester State in one quarterfinal on Tuesday, October 31st at Maple Street Field at 7 p.m.

The men's soccer team completed the regular season 10-7-1 overall and 4-3 in MASCAC action. The Lancers finished the regular season 5-7-4 overall and 3-4 in league action.  The winner of the Framingham/Worcester quarterfinal will advance the semifinals on Friday and will face top seed Bridgewater State.

Third seed Salem State hosts sixth seed Fitchburg State on Tuesday in the other quarterfinal with the winner advancing to face second seed Westfield State on Friday. The tournament concludes on Sunday with the winners of the two semifinals meeting at the highest remaining seed. The winner of the finals receives the MASCAC's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.
