Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State men's soccer posted it's second consecutive shutout in a 1-0 win over UMass Boston in non-conference play Tuesday afternoon at Maple Street Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Rams the game's only goal in the 32nd minute when Kauan Gomes gathered a 50/50 ball dribbled around a Beacons defender and snuck a shot inside the right post for his first collegiate goal.

The Beacons controlled paced out-shooting the Rams 17-to-8 but their aggressive offensive play got them flagged offsides nine times in the contest.

Joseph Sturzo made ten saves in the shutout win for the Rams.

Qasim El-Ashkar turned away three Rams shots.
