Men’s Soccer Blanks Hartford in Sunday Matinee

Hartford, Conn. The Framingham State men's soccer team shutout the University of Hartford by a 3-0 score on Sunday afternoon.  

THE BASICS: 

- Score:  Framingham State 3, Hartford 0 

- Records:Framingham State (8-7-1), Hartford (4-7-2) 

- Location: Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium  Hartford, Conn. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

  • The Rams scored three first half goals starting with a Kuphel Sinha tally in the 18th minute. 

  • Just a couple moments later Gustav Hemmingsen scored add a pass from Sinha. 

  • In the 30th minute Sinha scored his second goal of the season with help from Matheus Rodriguez. 

  • Rams goalkeeper Matheus Rodrigues made four saves in the shutout for the Rams. 

  • Mauricio Vega-Estades and Ryan Lunn combined for six saves for Hartford.  

  • The Rams controlled the pace for most of the game outshooting the Rams 16-to-7.
