Springfield Shuts Out Men’s Soccer; 4-0

Springfield, Mass. The Framingham State men's soccer team was defeated by Springfield College by a score of 4-0 in non-conference action Tuesday evening. 

THE BASICS: 

- Score:  Springfield 4, Framingham State 0 

- Records:Framingham State (4-4), Springfield (3-3-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • The hosts opened up the scoring in the 12thminute when Tristan Moran scored with an assist from Maitoe Suppasuesanguan.  

  • Springfield added another tally late in the first when Charlie Heth scored with a helper from Parker Thornton.  

  • The Pride capped the scoring with goals in the 73rd and 76thminutes when Suppasuesanguan and Thornton scored unassisted tallies.  

  • Noah Pote earned the shutout for Springfield while Joseph Sturzo and Adriel Moreno split time in net for the Rams.  

  • The hosts held as stark advantage in shots 11-to-1 in the contest while only being awarded teo corner kicks to the Rams one.
