Bryce Nardizzi Named MASCAC Offensive Player or the Year; Five Named Men’s Soccer All-MASCAC

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State junior forward Bryce Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year as voted on by coaches around the league.

Nardizzi is joined on the 1st team by teammates Isaac De Souza (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Steve Goll Kankam (Kumasi, Ghana) and Gustavo Cassemiro (Minas Gerais, Brazil) while senior Bryant Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass.) received a second team nod.

Bryce Nardizzi, who was also last season's Offensive Player of the Year, led the Rams to a share of the MASCAC Regular Season title and last week's Tournament Championship. He finished the year atop the conference leaderboard in points (25) and assists (seven) while tallying the second-most goals (nine) with three game-winners.

Senior Isaac De Souza was selected to the 1st Team All-MASCAC for the 3rd straight season after finishing 4th in the league in points with 18 on eight goals and two assists.

Freshman Gustavo Cassemiro had a breakout season with the Rams earning MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors four times. Cassemiro was third in the MASCAC in points with nine goals and five helpers.

Sophomore Steve Goll Kankam earns 1st-Team honors being an anchor of a Rams defense who had a team goals against average of 0.28 in league play this fall.

Senior Bryant Nardizzi earned an All-Conference honor in the midfield scoring three goals and an assist for the Rams. 

The Rams, who received an automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament will travel to Oneonta, NY on Saturday for a first-round matchup with #8 Messiah slated for an 11am start.
