Men’s Soccer Lands Four on All-Conference Teams

Westfield, Mass.- The Framingham State University men's soccer team has placed four student-athletes on the 2017 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams, two first team nods and two second team honorees.

Juniors Ken Stahovish (Springfield, Mass.) & Isaac De Souza (Sao Paulo, Brazil) were selected to the first-team and junior Johance Liverpool (Brockton, Mass.) and sophomore Eric Amoateng (Kumasi, Ghana) were second-team honorees.

De Souza led the Rams with 15 goals and 3 assists good for 63 points quickly followed by Stahovish who had 10 goals with 10 assists for 30 points.

Liverpool and Amoateng held down the backfield for the Rams who averaged just 1.52 goals against during conference play.

The Rams finished the season with a 9-10-1 record overall and a 4-3 mark in the conference before being edged by Salem State in the MASCAC semifinal.
