MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Preseason Poll Released

Framingham, Mass -The 2019-20 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's ice hockey preseason poll has been released by the conference office. 

Framingham State earned six points for seventh place in the poll. The Rams return junior Ryan Paul (Morgan, VT) who led the team with 14 points on six goals and eight assists while senior Jack Sheehan (Norwood, Mass.) added 12 points with six goals and assists a year ago.

Reigning 2018-19 MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey regular season and tournament champion Plymouth State has been chosen as the favorite earning five of the seven first place votes for 34 points. Earning the final two first place votes for 29 points is UMass Dartmouth followed in third with 25 points by Westfield State

Salem State is fourth with 20 points and sitting in fifth with 19 points is Fitchburg State. Rounding out the 2019-20 preseason poll are Worcester State and the Rams in sixth and seventh, respectively.

Framingham State opens the 2019-20 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5th when they host UMass Dartmouth at Loring Arena at 7:30pm.
