Men’s Basketball Downed by Bridgewater State

Bridgewater, Mass. - In a game that saw seven ties and five lead changes, the Framingham State University men's basketball team eventually fell 109-86 to Bridgewater State University this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Tinsley Center.

- Records: Framingham State (4-10, 0-2 MASCAC), Bridgewater State (6-8, 2-0 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led offensively by Joshua Saint Jean who narrowly missed a double double. Saint Jean connected on 7-of-13 from the floor for 22 points and added nine boards and an assist. 

  • Adonis Vashon chipped in with 18 points as he went 7-for-17 from the floor and added two rebounds and two assists. 

  • Kyle Philistin finished the game with 14 points on 4-of-9 from the floor to go along with two boards, two assists and two blocks. 

  • The Bears were led by 24 points off the bench from Precious Okoh who added six boards and two assists. 

  • Zach Taylor finished the game with 20 points for the Bears, while Dante Kikuba and Josh Campbell finished with 18 apiece. 

  • The Rams shot 49% from the floor in the game and 29% from behind the arc, while the Bears shot 50% from the field and 36% from long range.
