Men's Basketball Downs Vermont State Randolph to Win Vermont State Tip-Off Classic

Lyndon, VT - The Framingham State University men's basketball team defeated Vermont State Randolph 79-70 this afternoon in the championship game of the 2023 Vermont State Tip-Off Classic.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams were paced by 32 points in the game from Jonathan Noel. Noel connected on 13-of-21 from the floor and added eight boards and three steals. 

• Kyle Philistin chipped in with 15 points on 6-of-13 from the floor and added six boards, three assists and a steal. 

• Bryan Thompson finished the game with 13 assists and eight rebounds, while Joshua Saint Jean added six points and nine rebounds. 

• The Rams shot 47% from the floor in the game and 38% from behind the arc, while VT-Randolph shot 44% from the floor and 40% from long range. 

• The Rams held a slight 41-37 edge on the boards and forced 16 turnovers in the game.
