Men’s Basketball MASCAC Preseason Poll Released

Framingham, Mass.- The 2019-20 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball preseason poll has been released by the conference office. 

Framingham State earned 12 points for sixth place in the poll after having five wins last season. Tyri Hampton (Fitchburg, Mass.) returns for the Rams after netting 224 points, 161 rebounds, 19 assists and 15 steals during the 2018-19 season.

The 2018-19 Regular Season and Tournament Champion, Salem State was voted the league favorite receiving five first place votes for 35 points. Up next in second is Westfield State with the final two first place votes for 31 points. Bridgewater State sits in the third slot with 25 points and landing in fourth with 23 points is Fitchburg State. Up next in fifth is Worcester State with 15 points followed by the Rams and then MCLA in sixth place six points.

The Rams open their season on Friday, November 8th when they travel to Dean College for a non-conference tilt with the Bulldogs at 5pm.
