58 Rams Named to Spring 2016 MASCAC All-Academic Team

Westfield, Mass. - A total of 855 student-athletes, including 58 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league’s Spring 2016 All-Academic Team as announced earlier this week by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Cambridge, Mass. – MIT broke open a close game by out scoring Framingham State University, 13-2, over the final five minutes to pull away to a 63-52 non-conference men’s basketball win. Freshman Bradley Jomard (Paris, France) led MIT with his fourth double-double of the season, a 19 point and 11 rebound performance, while sophomore Tony Alexandre (Hyde Park, Mass.) led all players with 25 points for Framingham State.

Men’s Basketball Downed at MCLA; 75-58

North Adams, MA- MCLA junior Dakari Hannah Wornum collected a team best 15 points and a game-high 16 rebounds as he led the Trailblazers past the Framingham State Rams 75-58 tonight in MASCAC men's basketball action. With the win, the Trailblazers improve to 6-16 and 2-8 in conference play. The Rams drop to 4-18 and are 1-9 in the MASCAC.
