Dartmouth, Mass.– The UMass Dartmouth field hockey team received a third quarter hattrick by Mya Amaral en route to a 3-2 win over Framingham State in Little East action Saturday afternoon at Cressy Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Amaral got the Corsiars on the board in the 18th minute when she scored off an assist from Mikella Dasilva.

The Rams answered with a goal of their own a few moments later when Jordyn O'Boyle found the back of the cage.

Amaral struck again for an unassisted marker in the 27th minute and with help from Kylie Dias and Hannah Steen in the 28th minute.

The Rams came out of the halftime break with a flury of shots and finally converted when Brandi Core scored off a pass from Corlene Guenard in the 54th minute but that's all they would get.

Grace Pushor made five saves in the loss for the Rams.

Alyssa McDonough made five saves in the win for the Corsairs.

The Rams led the shot count 17-to-12 while UMD earned 12 corners to the Rams 6.
