Ford & Nazaire Grab MASCAC Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Senior running back Devaun Ford (Mashpee, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week and senior defensive back MoMo Nazaire has been named the MASCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending October 8th.    

Ford earns his second consecutive Player of the Week award after running for 157 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in three quarters of action in the Rams' 40-7 win over Fitchburg State. He averaged 6.8 yards per rush with touchdowns of 37 and seven yards while also catching a 19-yard pass for a score all in the first half of the win. 

Nazaire earned Special Team Player of the Week after he returned the opening kick of the second half 86 yards for the touchdown in his only return of the day in the Rams' 40-7 win over Fitchburg State. Nazaire also collected five solo tackles and an interception on the defensive side in the victory.
