Onujiogu Selected D3football.com Preseason All-America Third Team

Framingham, Mass. – Senior defensive end Joshua Onujiogu (Wareham, Mass.) has been selected to the 2020 D3football.com Preseason All-American Third Team Defense.

D3football.com has decided to select their Preseason All-America team despite there being no normal 2020 Division III football season. The team was chosen by D3football.com to recognize the top players at each position who were projected to return when the fall football season was cancelled.

Onujiogu earns his first Preseason All-America honors after an outstanding junior season in 2019 that saw him rack up multiple honors.  Onujiogu was the 2019 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Defensive Player of the Year and a first team All-MASCAC selection.  He was recognized as a 2019 D3football.com Second Team All-Region selection after finishing the season with a team-best 14.5 tackles for a loss with 8.5 sacks.

The Rams finished the 2019 season as the MASCAC Champions at 8-3 overall and 8-0 in league action.  The Rams received the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Football Championship.
