Baseball Outlast Lesley 11-8
Lexington, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team stormed into the win column with an 11-8 victory over Lesley University this evening in non-conference action.

The Rams grabbed an early 3-0 lead after an RBI fielder's choice, a Lesley error and an RBI single from Joseph Cicchette in the top of the first innings.

Lesley answered with one in the bottom of the frame but a sacrifice fly from Ryan Boyle in the top of the second pushed the lead back to three.

Trailing 6-4 heading to the sixth, the Rams scored seven run in the sixth, seventh and eighth taking the lead for good.

Boyle finished the game 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI while JC Espinal finished the game with two hits and two RBI.

The Rams are scheduled to begin league action this weekend with three games against Bridgewater State.
