Panza Named MASCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior pitcher Anthony Panza (Watertown, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 30th.     

Panza earns his first pitch of the week honor this season after making three appearances and earning a victory and a pair of saves. Panza earned the save in the Rams 4-3 win over Salem tossing three scoreless innings allowing just two hits with three strikeouts. He earned the victory in relief in the 5-4 win over Westfield State as he went 1.2 innings allowing no on no hits with four strikeouts. Panza closed the week tossing an inning of scoreless relief surrendering just one hit.
