Waltham, Mass.- The Lasell College Lacers baseball team scored a run in the eighth inning and four runs in the ninth to earn a come from behind 5-4 victory over the visiting Rams of Framingham State on Friday evening in non-conference action. With the win the Lacers improve to 18-14 while the Rams fall to 10-24.

Jon Chapman led the charge for the Rams going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Matt Brockett also picked up 3 hits and an RBI for the Rams. 

Rams starter Kyle Hodgson went six shutout innings allowing 3 hits a walk and striking out six. Aaron Williams suffered the loss for the Rams giving up 4 runs (2 earned) on four hits in the ninth inning. 

The Lacers used five pitchers in the contest but it was Thomas Pietruczuk who earned the victory after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. 

The Rams round out their conference schedule on Saturday, April 30th when they travel to Bridgewater State for a MASCAC doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m.
