Beverly, Mass.- The Endicott baseball team stole a season-high 11 bases (second all-time) en route to claiming a 9-5 victory over Framingham State University on Wednesday evening at North Field.

Junior reliever Colby Morris (Newburyport, Mass.) earned the win via 2 2/3 scoreless innings out of the pen after entering the game in the fifth with one out and runners on second and third. Endicott starter Brady Hall (Rockville, Md.) was handed the no-decision on four innings pitched, six hits, four runs (two earned), three walks and a career-high seven strikeouts.

Framingham State starter Chris Riga (Westfield, Mass.) took the loss on 3 2/3 innings, six hits, nine runs (six earned), four walks, and three punchouts. Blake Waters (East Sandwich, Mass.) was effective in relief as the freshman tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings, alongside one hit, zero walks, and two punchouts.

Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the second inning, the Gulls rallied for four runs on three hits (one error) and five stolen bases and never looked back. Chris Seidl (Dracut, Mass.) broke open the tie with a two-run double to right center, while Anthony Serina (Portsmouth, R.I.) made it 6-3 with a double to left center.

Serina then came around to score on a throwing error down the left field line after he successfully swiped third base, for his second of four stolen bases on the day.

The Gulls also tacked on two runs in the fourth on a Mike Kochiss (Fairfield, Conn.) sacrifice fly to right field and a Corbin Hyde (Lewiston, Maine) RBI single to right field.

After Morris blanked the Rams for 2 2/3 innings, Victor Molle (Peabody, Mass.), Davarn Nova (Buzzards Bay, Mass.) and Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) closed out the remainder of the contest for Endicott (2 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K combined).

Endicott (6-3) takes on Amherst in a non-conference doubleheader this Saturday at 1/3:30 PM. Framingham State (3-5) travels to Babson on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
