Lindberg Named MASCAC Baseball Co-Pitcher of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior right-handed pitcher Tommy Lindberg (Stratford, Conn.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Co-Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 1^st.  Lindberg shares pitcher of the week honors with Bridgewater State junior Corey Batista.      

Lindberg earns his second pitcher of the week accolades as he was previously named the pitcher of the week back on March 27^th.  This week Lindberg fired a complete-game two-hit shutout with six strikeouts in the Rams 7-0 win over MCLA on Saturday.  After issuing a walk with two outs in the third inning, Lindberg retired the final 13 Trailblazers in order to improve his season record to 6-2.  On the year Lindberg has a 2.31 ERA with two shutouts in six complete games.
