Brown Joins Framingham State University Athletic Training Staff

Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University Director of Athletics Tom Kelley is pleased to announce the hiring of Kristine Brown as a full-time assistant athletic trainer.  Brown will work primarily with the Rams four club sport programs as well as serving as the primary athletic trainer for the volleyball, women's basketball and men's and women's cross country programs. 

"We are pleased to have someone with the wide range of experience of Kristine joining our athletic training staff." said Kelley. "We know she will be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes well-being."

Brown comes to Framingham State after spending the past 14 years with the Babson College athletic training staff.  While at Babson, Brown assisted the director of athletic performance with all aspects of the sports medicine program. Brown was responsible for the evaluation and management of injuries to varsity athletes as well as providing practice and game coverage to multiple varsity programs. Brown holds several professional certifications and received the Kerkor "Koko" Kassabian Award in 2010 which is presented by the athletic trainers of Massachusetts as well as receiving the 2007 Athletic Trainer Service Award which is presented by the National Athletic Trainers Association.
